Inground Pools: Typically 4-8 weeks depending on excavation, permits, and weather.
Above-Ground Pools: Generally 2-3 days including leveling and setup.
Hot Tubs & Spas: Can be installed in 1-2 days, plus electrical hookup.
Swim Spas: Installation usually takes 3-5 days, including delivery and electrical work.
Kodiak Cold Plunges: Installation is quick—typically 1 day after delivery.
Yes, most municipalities require permits for inground pools, large swim spas, and electrical work. We assist with the permit application process to ensure compliance with local regulations.

You should test your pool water at least once a week. Bring a sample to Main Street Pool & Spa for free water testing, ensuring proper chemical balance.
- Run your pool pump at least 8 hours a day
- Skim debris daily and vacuum weekly
- Maintain pH between 7.2-7.6 and chlorine between 1-3 ppm
- Shock your pool every 1-2 weeks
- Balance the water and lower the water level
- Drain and blow out plumbing lines
- Add winter chemicals
- Cover the pool securely with a safety cover. We can measure, order and install a safety cover for you.
- We can also close your pool for you taking the worry and responsibility out of your hands.
Spa & Hot Tub Maintenance
For regular use, drain and refill your hot tub every 3-4 months to maintain water quality.
