The Optima® is a masterclass in backyard wellness, designed for those who want to balance high-capacity socializing with professional-grade hydrotherapy. As the most popular model in the 880™ Series, it features a spacious, open-seating design that comfortably fits up to seven adults, making it the premier choice for families in Ontario.

The Gold Standard of Hydrotherapy

  • The Accu-Ssage™ Therapy Seat: This isn’t just a seat; it’s a full-body deep tissue massage. Targeting the neck, back, and hips, it provides the widest coverage of any Sundance® jet—perfect for real relief after a long day.
  • Reflexology Foot Dome: Located in the centre of the spacious footwell, the integrated dome uses specialized jets to provide a vigorous foot massage accessible from every seat in the spa.
  • Fluidix® Jet Technology: Experience the durability of jets designed without moving parts. From deep-tissue "pulsing" to gentle, skin-soothing bubbles, the Optima® offers a variety of sensations to suit every mood.

Designed for the Canadian Lifestyle

  • Spacious Open Seating: With no lounge seat taking up room, the Optima® maximizes its interior footprint. It allows everyone to face each other and move freely between therapy stations, making it a perfect social hub.
  • SunStrong® Cabinetry & Insulation: Engineered to withstand extreme Ontario freeze-thaw cycles, the high-density insulation and weather-resistant cabinetry ensure your energy bills stay low, even when the snow is falling.
  • Illuminated Accents: Multicoloured LED lighting, back-lit grab bars, and a glowing waterfall create a stunning evening ambiance for your backyard retreat.

Smart Tech & Simple Maintenance

  • CLEARRAY® UV-C Technology: Spend more time enjoying your water and less time balancing it. This advanced system neutralizes 99.9% of waterborne pathogens, significantly reducing your chemical footprint.
  • MicroClean® Ultra Filtration: This two-stage filtration system traps even the smallest particles, ensuring your water remains crystal clear and "Main Street" perfect.
  • i-Touch Control Panel: An intuitive, full-colour touchscreen makes it easy to adjust your massage, lighting, and temperature settings at a moment’s notice.
  • The Main Street Difference

Hot Tub Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can a Sundance® Spa run on 120V (Plug-and-Play)?
Select Sundance® models offer 120V "plug-and-play" convenience. However, for Canadian winters, we typically recommend a 240V connection. This delivers four times the heater output, ensuring your water temperature stays rock-solid even when it's -20°C in Uxbridge.
Q: Is hot tub maintenance difficult?
No. Modern Sundance® Spas are designed for about 10 minutes of weekly care. With the CLEARRAY® UV-C system, you’ll use fewer chemicals. We recommend a quick water test weekly and a full drain and refill every 3–4 months. You can always bring a sample to our Uxbridge store for free professional water testing.
Q: Does more horsepower mean a better massage?
Not necessarily. True hydrotherapy is about water volume and jet placement, not just raw motor power. Sundance® focuses on ergonomic "Fluidix®" jets that move water in a specific way to mimic a real massage. A well-designed 2.5HP pump often outperforms a "marketing-rated" 5HP pump.
Q: What does your delivery service include?
Our standard delivery includes placing the spa on your prepared pad or deck within Durham Region. It does not include electrical hookups, crane lifts, or fence removals. We provide a full "Pre-Delivery Guide" to ensure your backyard is ready for the big day.
Q: Can I install my hot tub indoors?
Yes, but 95% of our customers choose outdoor installs to enjoy the Ontario stars! For indoor setups, proper ventilation is critical to manage humidity, and the flooring must support the filled weight (approx. 2,500–5,000 lbs).
Q: What support do you offer after the sale?
At Main Street Pool & Spa, we are your long-term partners. Our Uxbridge retail store is stocked with all the chemicals and filters you need. We offer free professional water testing and have a dedicated service team to handle maintenance or equipment upgrades, ensuring your spa stays in top shape for years.
